We made it to the last full week of school! I know this is a tough time for students, parents, and teachers alike, but we will push through and FINISH STRONG! I wanted to send extra thoughts to our senior parents and families as they head into their final days on campus. Tomorrow night at the banquet is all about you! Even though we are in our last couple weeks, there is still plenty that we have left to do. Please review carefully!
Monday, 5/16:
4th block: Euphoniums/Tubas ( Mr. Seay) & Flutes/Saxophones (Mrs. Hood) Marching Band Auditions
Junior Uniform Fittings with Mrs. Banister
After School: Majorette Fittings with Mrs. Hood
Color Guard practice 3:30-5:30
Make-up auditions for those not in concert band
2022 Percussion Ensemble meet at City Hall at 5:45
All leadership team members and those wanting to be on the team next year, meet at Cox Blvd Church of Christ at 6 to setup for the banquet.
Tuesday, 5/17:
4th Block: Clarinet (Mrs. Hood) Auditions
Graduation Band Practice with Mr. Seay
After School: Make-up auditions for those not in concert band
Band Banquet at 6:30PM at Cox Blvd Church of Christ, dress is formal 🙂
Wednesday, 5/18:
4th Block: Any Make-up auditions (Mr. Seay)
Honor Day Practice with Mrs. Hood
After School: Sophomore Fittings with Mrs. Banister, we may be able to start during 4th block
Thursday, 5/19:
4th Block: Honor Day Dress Rehearsal at Grace Life Church at 1:30, Call at 12:30, Walk over to Grace Life Church, Normal school clothes are fine for this day. All others, graduation band practice.
After School: Backstage clean-up with Choir Students. We need as many students as possible here to help this day. The more people, the less time it will take!
Friday, 5/20:
Honor Day Band members do not drop off at MSHS, meet at Grace Life Church at 8AM, dress is all black. Nothing during 4th block this day.
