We really need some help in our Pit Crew for our band competition on Oct 16.
We are searching for golf carts, atvs and trailers! We will use these to transport each band’s equipment to and from the stadium. If you own any of these (or know someone who may let us borrow theirs), please let us know as soon as possible! These are necessities for TVI.
We also need more workers to help direct parking along with traffic around the two barricades we will have set up.
One more thing – we must have another person to help grill for ballgames on Friday nights. One of our band dads, Nathan Willingham, has grilled for us for a several years now. We are so glad he is able to help us this year as well; however, we usually have two people grilling so that it takes less time. We are able to grill these a day or two ahead of time so we will work with you on when you are available to grill! Everything you need is provided. You will be grilling at the Pit Cave (red brick building close to Harding and McBride – just up the hill from the lower concession stand).We need someone who can come around 4:30pm on this Friday before the game to help Nathan grill.
On the day of TVI, Nathan can only grill until 2:00pm. We serve hamburgers and hotdogs ALL DAY during TVI so we really need someone to please step up and help us! Just to give you an idea…we often sell at least 350 burgers and 150 hotdogs on a Friday night (between the 2 concession stands). During TVI, you can double that! We will also be able to grill ahead for TVI; however, because of the all day demand, someone will have to be onsite grilling during the day as well.
