Good afternoon,
This post is for 7th and 8th (1st Period 8th Grade and 3rd Period 7th grade) grade band members who are having their picture made this coming Monday, September 26.
The kids need to be dressed when they come to the middle school band room that evening. The pictures will be taken at the football stadium. We will get started with pictures around 5:15 and hope to be finished by 6:15 p.m. We will take full band pictures with instruments, as well as section pictures with instruments.
Please make every effort for your child to be here for pictures!!! We want every band student who will be playing at the concert in January to have their picture made and be in our concert program!
There will NOT be a makeup date for those who are not in attendance.
Just a reminder on the concert attire for the pictures:
Boys – White button down shirt, black dress pants (not jeans), belt, black socks, and a pair of black dress shoes.
Girls – Long black dress (please see the pic and click the link). Many of the ladies in the 8th grade band may have their black dresses from last year. Those are fine to wear again for this year. If you need to obtain another dress (this includes this year’s 7th grade girls), here is what we are wanting you to purchase:
7th and 8th grade ladies may choose to wear the white shirt, black pants, belt, black socks, and black dress shoes if they would not like to wear the dress. The long, black dress is preferable.
