Good morning band faMily. It’s SHOW DAY!
We planned two community performances many months ago knowing contests would not be in the picture. This is a special event celebrating our band program by giving a free performance to our community and families. We are proud to offer it free of charge for all the support our community gives us! There is never a bad time to do a good thing!
Gates will open at 6:00!
Students, here is your band schedule for today!
1:35-3:15 Rehearsal, great weather!
4:30 all freshman uniform fitting, and few upperclassman
5:45 full band call on the field, polos and hats (seniors in uniforms)
6:25 push to stadium, seniors meet parents under scoreboard
band sets up in home stands to listen to middle school, senior recognition
7:00 show starts!
SENIORS! Some things you need to think about. You will be in band uniform for your senior night recognition, but you will need to change before our performance. Make sure you have everything for that. You need to figure out how to get it to the stadium. Maybe your parents bring it with them. POLO, PANTS, WHITE HAT, SHOES and SOCKS!
This is going to be a great night. I am so glad we get to do this!
