Parents and students,
Unfortunately, we were informed yesterday afternoon that our MSMS Band T-Shirts will not be ready by tomorrow. The pandemic, as we all know, has made production and shipping times a lot longer than what they used to be. We got the sizes from the kids as soon we started back to school but the t-shirt folks we are using need a few more days to get everything ready.
So here is Plan B. All 7th and 8th graders need to go home today and look for their red MSMS Band t shirt that was given to them last year (the one that says Band Together). We will wear those shirts on Thursday.
We do have some extras from last year. We will use those to give to the kids who joined band later in the year and for those kids whose shirt from last year no longer fits.
If we don’t have enough extras to go around, a red t shirt would be fine for the kids to wear on Thursday.
I apologize for the shirts not being ready….we should have them delivered to us before the next game on September 9.
The 7th and 8th graders sounded very good in class this morning. I think they are going to play very well tomorrow night.
