Good morning everyone. I wanted to let everyone know that our high school band fundaiser—SNAPRAISE—begins this Tuesday with a visit from a Snapraise representative to get us kicked off.
WHAT IS SNAP-RAISE? Snapraise is a fundraising company that deals with online-email donations. They are absolute geniuses at it. The websites they create generate a lot of visibility through social media and through emails. They have it figured out. We tried it last year for the first time and we astonished at the results. We hope to do even better this year!
Here is how snapraise works. Each student in the band is charged with finding 20 quality emails from family and family friends. Quality emails as in emails you know are real and are people you believe might be willing to help. The students on Tuesday will input these emails into our snapraise fundraiser website that is custom made for Muscle Shoals High School Band. The website, with the help of the snapraise company, generates high quality emails the addresses provided with links to the website which asks for donations to the Muscle Shoals High School Band Program. There they will find a video of the students asking for help, a list of sponsorship recommendations ($25, $50, $100) and what each donation would help purchase such as band music, music stands, instrument repair, new instruments, and so on. It is so well done and professional, people are instantly encouraged to want to help.
After Tuesday’s kickoff, what we need from you is to help spread the word through social media, and even continue to input email addresses as you find them or think of them. Last year this was the single most successful fundraiser the band has ever done. The best part is we didn’t have to order or deliver any items or goods.
