Friday, 5:30-8:00 rehearsal inside the High School gym, FULL SHOW DRESS
Load trucks after final run through, learn to get onto the floor at 8:00pm. We will need parents who will be helping to be there for the final run through
Saturday: 6:30am load buses in FULL SHOW DRESS with plenty of warm clothing as well. Eat breakfast prior to trip.
9:00 arrival, unload, set up, head to warm up
11:09 warm up inside
11:45pm PERFORMANCE TIME
Load immediately afterwords, scores announced at some point but we will leave immediately after loading.
Lunch will be provided, McDonalds cheeseburgers and drinks. If you want additional food please bring it with you. We will have enough for everyone to have two cheeseburgers. This is a MSHSCPE tradition 🙂 cheeseburgers in the lot.
If we depart at 1:00, we will arrive home in roughly 2 hours.
DRIVERS:
Scott Allen will be the truck/trailer driver for this performance. However, we are having a truck rental issue. I hope I can remedy it soon, but we do not have an F250 as of yet to pull the trailer. I will keep you informed. If you have any ideas text me or message me please.
Box Truck Drivers: Scott Baggette and Tom Clay will double duty this trip.
NEED HELP FROM ONE SET OF PARENTS:
I am in need of a parent to pick up the cheeseburgers from McDonalds right after our show. Please let me know if you could volunteer for this. I will need to give you the school credit card.
CONTEST INFORMATION
I encourage all of you to visit SCGConline.org and look at contest info. You can find a lot of detailed answers to question there.
Tickets are $10 a person. We will be able to have a handful of wrist bands for parents who help push. But even then we might not have enough for all helpers. We will cross that bridge when we get there.
PARENTS/SPECTATORS
You may watch the performances from our block of performances (all percussion) but not outside of that.
There is limited seating capacity in the gym.
You must wear a mask at all times. Performers may remove during the performance after setting up.
We will depart IMMEDIATELY after loading.
Students may check out after the performance as always with a signed signature from a parent.
