OFFICIAL CONTEST SCHEDULE

MONDAY—WEDNESDAY NO REHEARSAL AFTER SCHOOL

Thursday: 4th block, 5:30-8:00 practice field (no 3;30-4:30)

Friday: 4th block, 5:30-8:00 Stadium rehearsal black polo and shakos, faMily performance at the end

Saturday contest day:

1:30 band room opens

2:15 drill rehearsal, front ensemble loads trailer

3:00 eat, load trucks, dress into uniform, load buses

4:45 depart for contest

5:15 arrive, unload

6:20 official warm up time

7:10 official performance time

7:25 back to buses to load, stay in uniforms

8:30 back to stadium and into assigned seating area in the home stands

9:00 awards ceremony, drum majors only

9:30 load the buses, depart for MSHS

10:00 arrive home, unload, hang up uniforms

*** Important to note, students will not have a ‘built in time” to eat after we depart MSHS at 4:45. We will have a good meal provided for them just prior to departure (4:00ish) that will need to sustain them through the evening. They may bring additional food/snacks on the trip.

*** The band faMily performance Friday night will be approximately 7:45ish depending on where we are in the rehearsal stage. ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS ARE WELCOME TO WATCH. Understand that even if the rehearsal ends at 8:00 sharp, we will have alot of equipment to get back to the high school. In reality, most students will not be ready to depart the high school until around 8:30pm Friday night. Please plan accordingly.
