“Grow” officially begins tonight! Don’t forget to fill out the absence form here, if you are out of town and cannot be at rehearsal. These rehearsals are meant to get us better prepared for what to expect when band camp starts July 18th. The band directors and staff have already put in numerous hours to make this the best marching season yet, and it all starts with YOU tonight at 5:30! Our rehearsal will take place at MSHS, starting with a quick full band meeting in the upper middle section of the auditorium right at 5:30. Remember to arrive a few minutes early, so you can make it in on time! You will need to wear athletic clothing and athletic tennis shoes, and remember to bring water and your instrument/equipment. If you use a school owned instrument/equipment, those will be given to you when rehearsal beings.
Next week’s rehearsals are July 12 & 14 from 5:30-8 and will follow the same format as tonight.
At the beginning of a new season, both students and directors always feel a certain amount of anxiety and excitement to get started. Once you get into rehearsal all doubts are pushed aside and excitement takes over, replaced with teamwork and common goals. This will be a season to remember, and we cannot wait to see you all tonight!
