After 5 months of waiting for our next performance, it has finally arrived! This Friday night Game is a long time coming and we are ready to perform again! We hope you enjoy “Corozon” by the mshs marching band.
This week starts our first full week school week. Rehearsals every 4th block for everyone including Friday. This week is also full of rain chances so remember our rain plan is auditorium music rehearsals.
This game is also senior night recognition. Senior and their parental escorts will be recognized before the game at the pregame time. The band will also play the national anthem from our seating in the end zone after those recognitions.
Our first in person band booster meeting is this Tuesday night at 7pm. Parents, we hope you can make this meeting. Would be wonderful to see all of you spread our in our auditorium to finally see each other face to face. Plenty of info to share for 2020 season.

5:30. Students arrive in full 2020 uniform/costumes On practice field
6:05. March to stadium
6:15. Seniors and their parents meet under scoreboard on track
6:30. Senior night
6;50. National Anthem
7:00. Gametime
halftime COROZON show
9:30-10:00 Game ends, parents pick up students from the high school
-tomorrow we will create the script for the seniors, and we will go over it with the later this week.
-there will be a senior night specific post later this week for parents.
-we will need a student loading crew created this week for chair help-rememeber Band will be seated in the west end zone. You might want to sit down on that end this year parents instead of where the band usually sits. We should sound very good from down there.
-this first show will be short as we do not have our closer learned. We will play our 2 minute opener and the fight song. There will be only a pep band visiting band from Decatur.
