This is our last week of competitive marching band season. Our marching band will still be performing many Friday night from now, but we will transition inside for concert band practice Monday-Thursdays. We will practice outside on Friday’s only after this week. After this week, all after school practices no longer happen.
On Friday, our last rehearsal this week, we will stay an extra hour until 4:30. Remember, there is no ballgame this week so after rehearsal, Friday night is open.
Saturday, we practice a short time before heading to Birmingham. This is simply to get the students mentally prepared for the day. It is supposed to be a cold one, so we will need students to dress accordingly. We will talk more about that as the week goes on.

10:30 band room open
11:30 rehearsal, on the practice field
1:00 eat
1:30 load trucks
2:30 depart for Pelham HS
5:00 arrive at state championships, unload
6:20 warm up
7:20 performance
8:30 awards
9:00 load
9:30 depart Pelham
12:00 arrive home
