Good morning MSMS Band.
If you were able to make it to the high school football game this past Friday night, you got to see a great game and a last second field goal that gave Muscle Shoals a victory! It was so much fun!
Here are some upcoming events for the 7th and 8th grade bands:
1. MSMS Football game performance on October 1. I will let everyone know the particulars of that day later this week.
2. Special evening performance with the MSHS Trojan Marching Band on October 8 at James F. Moore Stadium. More info to come…
Parents, please keep these dates open. We are so very grateful to have the opportunity to perform. The kids have been working hard in class. I know you are looking forward to hearing them play!
All 6th and 7th grade band students received their band t-shirt last week. 8th grade will receive theirs Monday morning. 7th and 8th grade will wear this shirt for their performances on October 1 and October 8.
Our fall middle school band fundraiser will be starting on September 28. We will be giving your child info concerning this effort on that date. This is cookie dough, home/kitchen items/etc. The incentives for the kids to sell are some of the best that I have seen in a LONG time. I think it will motivate them to work hard in this fundraiser!
We got a lot accomplished last week. I hope we can continue that trend this week!
