Info for the Week of 2/28 through 3/4

Good morning MSMS Band. Here’s the info for the week:

First, I would like to thank the 7th and 8th grade parents and students for their part in our full day of band this past Thursday. Both the morning and evening rehearsals those days were quite productive. Again, the directors desire for the kids to be as prepared as possible for their upcoming MPA performance. This extra time that we have asked of all of you has been greatly beneficial. Terry Ownby and Pat Stegall gave us some great feedback on where we can improve. Thank you to those gentlemen for taking time out of their day to come listen to the kids. Parents, thank you again for making adjustments to your schedules to get your kids to these rehearsals.

We will have two more morning rehearsals with the 7th and 8th grade before our MPA Performance. These two dates are Thursday, March 3 and Tuesday, March 8. We will begin at 7:15 a.m. both mornings.

Here’s our day of MPA Schedule (our original performance has slightly changed, but we will keep the same schedule):

Tidus Hollander is now home! We are so happy that he is out of the hospital and that he is continuing to improve. This is an answered prayer for so many people.
