Good evening MSMS Band!
Here’s your info for the week:
Concert is TOMORROW NIGHT!
Kids need to make sure they come by the band room after school tomorrow to get their instruments and books. Call time is 5:15 p.m. 8th Grade Band will meet on stage, 7th Grade Intermediate Band in the Band Room, 6th/7th Grade Concert Band will meet in the chorus room. (All at the high school).
Concert starts at 6:00 p.m.
Veteran’s Day Concert
What: Veteran’s Day Concert
When: Monday, November 4 @ 6:00 p.m.
Who: 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Band Members
Where: Muscle Shoals High School, Charles R. Stratford Auditorium
There will be no charge for admission.
ALL INSTRUMENT PLAYERS (except Tubas) WILL NEED TO BRING THEIR INSTRUMENT and MUSIC/MUSIC BOOKS HOME WITH THEM AFTER SCHOOL ON NOVEMBER 4!!! The directors will take the tubas to the high school that afternoon.
8th graders will need to be on stage, in their seat, ready to play at 5:15 p.m.
7th grade Intermediate band members will need to be in the high school band room at 5:15 p.m.
6th/7th Grade Concert Band Members/Beginners will meet in the high school chorus room @ 5:15 p.m.
Jazz Band Will Start This Week
First rehearsal will be Thursday morning, November 7 @ 7:15 a.m. in the middle school band room.

On Saturday, the MSHS Band competed in the class 6A Alabama Marching Band Championships at Jacksonville State University and collected a “Clean Sweep”!
