Jazz Band
Rehearsal – Monday, February 13 @ 7:15 a.m.
Rehearsal – Wednesday, February 15 @ 7:15 a.m.
Performance – MSMS Black History Month Program, Thursday, February 16 @ 8:30 a.m.
*Jazz Band members need to wear their Black MSMS Band T-Shirts for this performance*
Music Performance Assessment
7th/8th Full Band Rehearsal @ MSHS Bandroom – Tuesday, February 28 @ 6:00 p.m.
MPA Performance @ UNA – Tuesday, March 7. Time of performance TBD. More details will be given out once the final performance schedule is released.
Shoals Area Honor Band
March 10 – 11 @ Florence High School. More info to be shared as we get closer to the event.
We had 31 Middle School Band students selected for the 2023 Shoals Area Middle School Honor Band!!!
The Alabama Bandmasters Association District 3 Honor Band was held at Russellville High School this past weekend. MSMS Band had 17 students attend the event! Here’s pic before their concert yesterday afternoon:
The 7th and 8th grade members are continuing their MPA Prep. This is a big week for the band in their music preparation. Next week they are only in class for 3 days. We’ve got to make this 5 day week count!
