This week we will be working very intently on getting our Christmas Concert music ready before we get out for Thanksgiving. All 3 groups have plenty to work on before we finish class on Friday.
Our goal is to have all 3 groups a lot more comfortable with the music by the end of the week.
Our Christmas Concert is scheduled for Monday, December 6 in the auditorium at Muscle Shoals High School. The date on the Smore newsletter that has been sent out to all middle school parents is incorrect.
I will be staying after school again this Monday and Tuesday until 4:30 p.m. to work with the kids trying out for All State.
7th grade chair tests will start this week: Prepared Piece; C, F, and G scale and arpeggio; and a one octave chromatic scale. Nothing has to be memorized for this chair test.
That’s all we have this week! It’s relatively quiet compared to the past few weeks.
