Parents of MSMS Band Students,
Good morning! I hope all of you have had a nice weekend. It’s good to be back at school with your kids this morning.
I want to take this time and give you all some information about something big that is coming up on October 19: the annual Tennessee Valley Marching Invitational. This event has been put on by the high school band boosters each year since 1992. It is one of the premier marching band contests in Northwest Alabama.
There is a high school band booster meeting tonight at 7 p.m. in the bandroom at the high school. At this meeting, the boosters will be going over the planning for the marching contest. Let me encourage you, if you are able, to attend the meeting tonight. Our booster organization at the high school also helps out our middle school program and some of the money we make from TVI (Tennessee Valley Invitational) will go to help out the middle school program. We really appreciate the high school boosters helping out the middle school program. We are blessed to have the programs here at Muscle Shoals that we have! You don’t see this support at very many programs, but it is strong here!
Again, if you can make it to the meeting tonight, I know the high school boosters would GREATLY appreciate it.
