Sometimes, you just need to rejoice at the good things in your life folks. There is plenty to find negative but man we have some wonderful things to be grateful for!
Tuesday was a brutal heat day that the kids pushed through and worked hard. I think the ice cream was a huge motivator! Thank you boosters for arranging that for us.
I always enjoy speaking to a room full of new and old band parents about this band program. 24 years of my life has been devoted to the trojan band program and my enthusiasm for it’s success has never been higher. The kids work ethic and attitudes literally motivate us every day to work harder and stay positive.
If you were not here at the meeting, my talk was about supporting your children in the band by coming to their performances. I am on the field and I see on their faces the joy they have when you cheer. It means everything. Please, be there.
Our snapraise fundraising campaign kicked off today 4th block. We have raised $3,000 in less than 2 hours. Help by sharing through social media especially to people outside our community. They want to help and it is a group you haven’t bothered with other fundraisers.
Finally, I am so glad I work at Muscle Shoals High School. Take a good look around at other systems folks because we have it really good. Go Trojans!
