We have been asked by the Shoals Optimist Club to help them place flags in patrons yards for a few patriotic events this year. (Memorial Day, Flag Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and Veteran’s Day.) SOC will be donating $1,000 to the MSHS band! The subdivisions we will be working in are Huston/Plantation Pointe and Cypress. We will be meeting tomorrow morning at 9AM at the beginning of Huston Drive (Off of Allege Lane) Huston Plantation. We do not expect this to take more than 2 hours, and probably much less! We will be taking flags up on Monday at 4PM. We need student and parent volunteers (10-15 total) to be successful with this fundraiser. I understand the last minute nature of this post, but if you can find a couple of hours over the holiday weekend to help, we would be very grateful. Please sign up to volunteer here.
