This week is our first show week! We will perform Thursday night at meet the Trojans in our home stadium. We are looking forward to showing what we have learned so far.
This week is a normal rehearsal week except for Thursday of course. Monday and Tuesday call for hot temps. Staff is aware and will be cautious.
Percussion section has sectionals every day this week at 7;30am to learn the drum feature.
This Friday is our rescheduled reward trip to Top Golf for the leadership team. Depart at 3;30 and arrive home at 9pm.
Thursday show day schedule: 4th block rehearsal, 5:15 call in the band room. Rehearse then to the field just in time for halftime. After halftime we will play in the stands until the end of the game. This is a scrimmage with only 8 minute quarters and will be shorter than normal games.
DRESS FOR THURSDAY; band will wear their black under armor shirts with shorts and tennis shoes. Aux staff will determine what they should wear.
Next week is our first game against Deshler, which happen to be on Thursday night as well. This will be good practice for us.
This is the last week to sign up for private lessons.
