It’s COMPETITION WEEK! The start of our competition season is always an exciting time for the MSHS band program. I know the students are ready to put in the work this week in order to have their best possible performances on Friday and Saturday! Please note: if students are not at rehearsal this week, they will be missing many new things for the competition on Saturday. Students who miss rehearsals may not be ready and able to perform with us on Saturday.
I want to say a special thank you to all the hard working parents who are loading props, chaperoning, driving trucks, concession stand workers, planners, booster officers, and the ones in the background supporting our band program in ways we do not see. Life is crazy, and so is the world we live in. But one thing never changes……….. there is never a bad time to do a good thing. There really isn’t anything more important than how you treat people. These kids and our parents do such a great job of this.

Wednesday: 4th Block
Thursday: 4th Block; 3:30-4:30
Friday: 1:15 Pep Rally; 4th Block Rehearsal; Home Game Vs. James Clemens

3:15 school ends, leave campus
5:30 ready in full uniform/rehearsal

We are the last band to perform before the exhibition, so we will push into the end zone and set instruments up neatly on the track before heading into the visitor stands for Russellville’s performance and the award ceremony.

Water Drop Off on Tuesday 7:30-8:15! Please plan to have parents drop off water or drop off after rehearsal! We will provide 2 water bottles to each student for every performance, and these go by very quickly.
