It’s game week. It’s a busy week.
Rehearsals: Students every second of every rehearsal is going to determine our success Thursday. Please be on top of everything and stay focused on the job at hand. You can do it I have faith in you.
GAME DAY:
Game day starts with a Pep rally at the start of 4th block. Followed by a show rehearsal outside.
Then the game call for everyone is 5:30 in the band room in uniform.
We will march to the stadium around 6:15
Senior night activities will begin promptly at 6:30. Parents and seniors will need to meet bellow the scoreboard of the stadium at 6:15pm. The order of the senior recognition will be football, cheerleaders, then band.
Games always start at 7pm, halftime usually around 8:00.
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:
Tuesday 4th block is stands music, then outside 5:30-8:00
Wednesday is short stands review, then outside
Thursday: Pep rally, outside rehearsal, then 5:30 game call
Friday: Start learning the ballad.
OTHER NEWS:
Snapraise is going strong with over $15,000 donated! Keep this going folks. That is nothing short of fantastic.
Auxiliary; Your first dues payment is due. Please get that to Mrs. Hood ASAP.
All State audition music is available. Please stop by and see us for copies.
Parents, we need 4 more people to help at Thursday nights game. Please let me know if you are available to help.
Students, let’s stay on top of our responsibilities and be focused. This is just the beginning for us. The best thing you can do today and every day for the band program is to simply know what is going on and stay focused. And don’t forget to enjoy the ride folks. This is supposed to be FUN remember 🙂
