Good morning from the band room! I can’t believe we only have 3.5 weeks of school left! Finish strong, everyone!
The Trojan Drive Jazz Band had a fantastic performance at the shoals Area Night of Jazz last week! I am so proud of this group. It is one of the most fun ensembles we have on campus!
We had a great time with our 18 All-State students this weekend in Huntsville. Congratulations students on great performances, but also on being great humans. I really enjoy spending times like this with you all!
Donations and Sponsorships have started rolling in for our Rachel Wammack Benefit Concert on May 11th! Tickets are available for purchase now and proceeds go toward the band’s new uniform fund!
Congratulations to Mrs. Hood and Mr. Seay on their awards presented at the Phi Beta Mu luncheon on Friday! Mrs. Hood was named the Outstanding Young Bandmaster of the Year for the Rho (Alabama) Chapter of Phi Beta Mu and Mr. Seay was inducted to the Phi Beta Mu Rho Chapter Honorary Bandmaster Fraternity. This is a HUGE honor!
