Good morning, from the band room! This week is a big week for our 17 students travelling to All-State in Huntsville. All info is below.
Thank you to everyone who is taking care of band fees. Please get these in as soon as you can.
Congratulations to our 2024 Auxiliary Members! I need to measure everyone this week. Please come to the MSHS band room before or after school on Wednesday to get this help. Help me spread the word!
This Week in Band:
Monday: 4th block (half spring concert/half jazz band)
Tuesday: 4th block (half spring concert/half jazz band), Shoals Area Night of Jazz
Wednesday: 4th block
Thursday: 4th block with Mr. Seay, All-State students will be called from class at 11AM
Friday: no school, All-State Honor Band
Saturday: All-State Honor Band
Shoals Area Night of Jazz Schedule
Venue: Florence Middle School Auditorium
FMS is providing everything except guitar/piano cables, Griff’s bass, congas, and our jazz band fronts. Dr. Frederick and I will bring the congas and fronts. Griff and Liam, please bring your cables and bass guitar.
Call time (meet at FMS): 5:45PM, make sure you bring instruments and music

All-State Honor Band Schedule
We will take a bus to All-State. We are staying at the Embassy Suites attached to the Von Braun center. Our band boosters always cover the cost of the hotel, but students are responsible for bring money for all meals.
