Happy post spring break band faMily.
In our immediate future we have several things.
JAZZ BAND AUDITIONS: start today and try to finish up Wednesday. We will do these during 4th block pulling students out of rehearsal to audition for Mr. Seay, Mrs. Hood, or Mr. Waters. Rehearsals will start ASAP. More on that later.
TUESDAY INDOOR PERFORMANCES: The MSHS Winterguard and Percussion Ensemble will be doing recording performances in our high school gym Tuesday evening. For the Winterguard doors will open at 5:45, for percussion doors will open at 7:45. Please come support these hard working students. You will not regret it.
Friday is Good Friday and is a Holiday. No school.
Majorette Clinics and Auditions will be held April 5th through the 9th after school.
District honor band is April 9-10th at Russellville High School. Concert is Virtual.
Colorguard Clinics and Auditions will be held April 12-16th after school.
All State band festival will be April 15-17th in Mobile.
Miss Trojan Beauty and Little Miss Trojan Beauty Pageants will be April 17th which is run by our Band Booster organization. Parent and student volunteers will be needed. Applications for entry are due this week.
A NIGHT AT THE THEATRE spring concert and mass band event will be April 20th in Charles R. Stratford Auditorium. Do not miss this!!!!!
***Other things to consider: Our choir/drama program will be performing “Huntchback of Notre Dame” April 28-May 2nd
