Good evening, from the band room!
Ours thoughts are with all families who were affected by the severe weather on Saturday evening. Thank you to everyone who has pitched in to help our fellow band families. A big thank you to David Waters, Terry Pearson, and all others involved in helping us take care of cleaning up and removing our band shed. It is surreal not to see that little red shed on the field anymore, but these things can be replaced. We are glad no one was seriously injured and hope the recovery process goes quickly for all.
Before the storms we had success with our Percussion Ensemble and Winter Guard at the Bob Jones Madtown Throwdown Competition. The Percussion Ensemble came home with a first place win, and the Winter Guard came home in 7th! We are excited to take the feedback given and continue to make our shows the best they can be.

It is pageant week! This is a major fundraiser for the band boosters, and we have many band students participating in the pageants as contestants and volunteers this weekend. I will be asking a few high school girls if they can help in the dressing rooms and some boys if they can help backstage for the Miss Trojan Beauty pageant on Friday night. Please support by purchasing tickets!
