From the podium, 11/4-11/8

Good morning Trojan band land. Another year of state marching championships has come and gone. Another successful year for the Trojan marching band! What a performance Saturday to be proud of! The staff is already planning for next year on ways the band can be even better. That is the reason for the championship in the first place, to improve our programs and to motivate us to be the best we can be.

SURPRISE! We are playing a veterans day concert tomorrow at 10am! There were a few logistical issues dealing with the Army reserve band and the MSHS combined concert band will be performing Armed Forces Salute during the 10am program. The Army Reserve band is going to be a small ensemble and will also perform. Today, we practice together on one of my all time pieces of music! Armed Forces Salute!

Percussion ensemble auditions take place today and tomorrow after school. We will have a meeting an official ensemble meeting 3:30 Wednesday in the percussion room after auditions.

WInterguard Audition clinics are Monday through Wednesday 3:30-5:00 and Auditions are Thursday 3:30

Friday, first playoff game. We are hosting the Albertville Aggies. Their band has over 300 members! We are looking forward to their performance and also seeing Mr. Haskew! Game call is 5:30pm as always. DRESS WARM!!! Looks to be nice and cold!
