Good morning, from the band room!
Happy Veteran’s Day to all of our Veteran’s and their families. We thank you all for your service and sacrifice. The band did well at our Veteran’s Program last Thursday, and now we will be working on reading all our new music for our performance at SEUS in February. I should have the schedule for this performance this week.
Week-at-a-glance:
Monday: 4th block, percussion ensemble auditions
Tuesday: 4th block, percussion ensemble auditions, pep band for Shoals Stars game at MSHS stadium needed 6-8
Wednesday: 4th block
Thursday: 4th block
Friday: 4th block, playoff game at home vs. Fort Payne (concessions volunteers needed: https://volunteersignup.org/XABRC)
Tuesday: The Shoals United Stars, LLC is a special needs sports group for kids in the Shoals and beyond. On Tuesday evening, these students will be having their last flag football game of the year, and a pep band is needed to help cheer them on! Roster is below. I need all these students at the performance (I think I left off all the Mean Girls students). If your name is not on the list, you can also go if you want! This is just the minimum.
