All-State Festival is next week! There are some great clinicians if you haven’t seen yet. More info on facilities, clinicians, etc., can be viewed at alaband.org.
The only changes to the schedule were dinner locations. Parents, if you are travelling to Mobile on your own, please note that Wintzell’s and the Original Oyster House are reservations for directors and students only. You are more than welcome to eat there at the same time as us, but directors and students will eat together.
Because the Muscle Shoals Prop is scheduled for the Saturday of All-State, we have decided to have a little celebration with “Band Prom.” You can dress up as little or as much as you would like. We will only have about 30 minutes to get ready to depart to Gulf Shores beach for sunset pictures on the beach. Then we will all enjoy a sit down meal together at the original oyster house. Afterward, depending on time, we will head back to the beach for our annual All-State evening on the beach! You can bring clothes to change into if you would like!
