11:30 rehearsal, on the practice field
1:00 eat
1:30 load trucks
2:30 depart for Pelham HS
5:00 arrive at state championships, unload
6:20 warm up
7:20 performance
8:30 awards
9:00 load
9:30 depart Pelham
12:00 arrive home
Saturday is going to be the coldest performance yet this year. I predict our performance temperature to be around 45-48 degrees. Students will need to think through what to wear under the uniform. Long sleeve tshirts and sweat pants are perfect and cheap. Thermal clothing would be a great idea and less bulky. Guard and Majorettes need to dress in uniforms then warm clothing over the top until warm up and performance. Think through this before Saturday.
We have some students performing Saturday morning in Cullman. I have spoken to all of them and the plan is you will come back to MSHS following the performance.
Dress warm for the rehearsal Saturday. Also Friday at school. Be prepared for cold temps and wind.
We have worked long and hard for this day. I am looking forward to it!
