Booster Needs this Week!

Good evening everyone!

Tomorrow is the last middle school football game that we will host (middle school championship game TBD) and we still need 3 more workers for the lower concession stand. The first game starts at 5:00pm and the 2nd game starts at 6:30pm. We try to open the window for business at 4:30pm. This is when workers need to arrive if possible. I know some of you may not be able to come until after work. If that is the case, please message me and we may be able to work something out 🙂

We also have one volunteer spot open in the upper concession stand for this Friday night’s game. We need workers there by 5:30pm. This is when we will open the windows for business. Remember to stop by the lower concession stand to get your pass if you are working in the upper concession stand.

A big thank you to all of you who have already volunteered your time in so many areas!

Looking ahead to TVI – if you would be interested in becoming treasurer for next year or learning more about the position, please message me! It is very very helpful to shadow the current treasurer during TVI. We also are looking for someone to help learn the in’s and out’s of the concession stand. Since this is something that only happens in the fall, now is the perfect time to come in and observe/ask questions! We will have other positions opening up next year as well, but I wanted to mention these two since the time to observe and learn is now!

I can’t stress enough that everything is a team effort in our booster organization!

I have experienced this first hand! I started helping in the concession stand 5 years ago when my oldest was a freshman. I then became co-treasurer for the next 2 years before becoming VP last year and then president this year! I cannot remember a time when I was left to conquer something on my own 🙂 This is what I love about this organization!! We truly are a team!! We even have former boosters who still love to come help from time to time! So if you are interested in serving in a position, please message me (256-483-9097). I would love to answer any questions you may have.

Lastly, extra show shirts will be available in the lower concession stand tomorrow night as well as Friday night. We still have a few parents who have not picked up their shirts from the first order.
