Good afternoon from the band room!
I hope everyone fared well with the flooding and storms that passed through this weekend. We have an exciting 2 weeks in the band room. Whether you are going to Hawaii or not, Spring Break is right around the corner! We hope you have a good break resting and spending time with loved ones. 179 members of the band family will be travelling to Oahu, Hawaii early on Wednesday, March 19th! I am packed and ready to get this thing going!!
The Next 2 Weeks in Band:
Monday, 3/17: 4th Block Rehearsal, 1/2 Spring Concert 1/2 Hawaii Rehearsal, Percussion Ensemble and Winter Guard 5:15-8:15
Tuesday 3/18: 4th Block Rehearsal, 1/2 Spring Concert 1/2 Hawaii Rehearsal, Brief Hawaii Rehearsal after school, Hawaii Packing Session afterward. Should be done around 5.
Wednesday 3/19: Hawaii Departure Day, 4th Block Rehearsal with Mr. Allison
Thursday 3/20: 4th Block Rehearsal with Mr. Allison
Friday 3/21: 4th Block Rehearsal with Mr. Allison
Monday 3/24: Spring Break
Tuesday 3/25: Spring Break
Wednesday 3/26: Hawaii Return Day, Spring Break
Thursday 3/27: Spring Break, Winter Guard Rehearsal 5:15-8:15
Friday 3/28: Spring Break, Winter Guard Rehearsal 9-1, 3-6
Saturday 3/29: Winter Guard @ SCGC Championships
All-State Chair Test codes and instructions were emailed to all students last week. All students must submit a chair audition before the deadline. Please do not procrastinate on this, as there are frequently technical difficulties with the uploading process. If you have trouble uploading, you must submit a help ticket through the HeartOut app. If there is not a ticket by the time the submission window ends, they will not take your audition, and you will sit last chair.
