From the Podium: 7/22-7/25

Good morning, everyone! We hope you have had a restful weekend. We had a great start to camp last week. All the new members are dong so well! Keep up the good work, everyone.

Although they got the air running at MSHS last Thursday, they will be stripping and waxing floors all week; therefore, we will run the same schedule this week as we did last week.

Monday-Thursday:
7:30-12:30
5:30-8:30

We will likely rehearse Thursday night and have our end of camp water balloon fight that evening as well in the hopes of getting the full opener on the field before the end of camp.

Meeting/Drop Off Locations this week:
Winds (woodwinds and brass): Church beside MSMS
Percussion: MSMS Band Room
Color Guard: Muscle Shoals Parks and Rec Gym 2
Majorettes: MSCA Multipurpose Room

Reminder about snack/drink drop off: Students will be required to bring 1 case of water and 1 pack of snacks for band camp. Snacks should be individually wrapped snack packs. Freshmen (salty snack and 1 case of water) and Sophomores (sweet snack and 1 case of water) drop off on July 15th, and Juniors (salty snack and 1 case of water) and Seniors (sweet snack and 1 case of water) drop off on July 22nd. Winds will bring their water/snacks to the church beside MSMS. Percussion will bring their water/snacks to MSMS. Auxiliaries, please wait to bring your snacks and waters until we are back at MSHS.

July 31: Institute Performance, full band 7:30AM at MSHS
August 5: First Day of School!
