Good morning, from the band room! We hope you had a great weekend. Maybe the clouds will clear, so we can view the eclipse today. If not, we will still be working on final touches for our Dinner with the Band performances!
Congratulations on great end of season performances to our Winter Guard and Percussion Ensemble! We are so proud of these students and their endless commitment to the activities they love.
This Week in Band:
Monday – 4th Block (eclipse, and also DWB stuff), Majorette Clinic 3:30-5 in the MSHS Gym
Tuesday – 4th Block, DWB Dress Rehearsal (more info below), DWB at 6:30 (see call time, dress, etc. below). Majorette Clinic 3:30-5 in the MSHS Gym
Wednesday – 4th Block Mass Band, Majorette Clinic 3:30-5 in the MSHS Gym
Thursday – 4th Block Mass Band, Majorette Clinic 3:30-5 in the MSHS Gym
Friday – 4th Block Mass Band, All-State Chair Auditions Due, Last Day to Sign Up for Solo and Ensemble, Majorette Tryouts 3:30-5 in the MSHS Gym
Dinner with the Band
Student Call Time: 5:30 (Leadership Team at 4:45), students will be fed pizza at this time
Event Start Time: 6:30
*We have a list of tickets bought and plate option that was selected. We will use the list to check you at the door. You then proceed to the line to pick up food/drinks, then find a seat and enjoy your meal as the show begins!
Dress: All black (black dress shirt, polo, blouse, black pants, black socks, black shoes.) Students may also wear their concert attire, if they wish.
