Here’s your info for the week:
Dates of Importance
April 25-27 – All State Band Festival in Huntsville @ the VBC.
May 4 – Solo and Ensemble Festival @ MSMS (6th, 7th, and 8th grade may participate)
May 6 – May 10 – Marching Band auditions (for current 8th graders moving up to the MSHS Marching Band)
May 9 – MSMS Bands Spring Concert @ MSHS Auditorium
Dinner with the Band
This is an annual event put on by the high school band. We would love for you to attend. There will be SEVERAL different high school band groups performing!

MSMS Color Guard Audition Sign-Ups
MSMS Color Guard Tryout sign ups have started. Any 6th/7th grade girl interested in trying out needs to sign up on the list by the office and take an info form. Tryouts will start April 29. See Mr. Seay in the band room if you have any questions.
Rachel Wammack Concert!!
Rachel Wammack Benefit Concert- May 11th: This event is to kick-off our fundraising campaign for new band uniforms for the high school band. We need to raise $100,000. We hope you can attend and bring your whole family! Please ask your place of work/business to be a sponsor! See below.
We are encouraging all our students, particularly the 6th graders, to participate in this years Solo and Ensemble Festival. This is their first chance at doing something that is unique to being in band.
We are also working hard on our spring concert material in all our classes. You won’t want to miss the concert on May 9. It’s going to be great!
