Happy Sunday! As we are on the eve of the second week of band camp, I wanted to send a quick encouragement to our students and parents. The days are long, but the reward will be worth it! We band directors are so appreciative of the parent help that goes on every day of camp to make sure our students and staff are fed and taken care of. Thank you parents. Students, we had a great week #1. Let’s build off of that and accomplish more this week!
Students will be required to bring 1 case of water and 1 pack of snacks for band camp. Juniors (salty snack and 1 case of water) and Seniors (sweet snack and 1 case of water) drop off on July 24th.
Band Camp Schedule:
Mondays and Tuesdays
8-11:30 – Block 1
11:30-12:30 – Lunch Provided
12:30-4 – Block 2
4-6 – Dinner of campus on your own
6-8 – Block 3
Wednesdays
8-11:30 – Block 1
11:30-12:30 – Lunch Provided
12:30-4 – Block 2
Thursdays
8-1 – Only Block
We will celebrate after camp on Thursday with our annual water balloon event! Please sign up to help here.
3:30 Band Pictures – everyone is required to attend band pictures on Thursday afternoon. You will be wearing your band uniforms. These pictures are used for the football program, but you are able to purchase them as well. Be on the lookout for order forms to be sent home this week.

Upcoming Band Performance Dates
Monday, July 1st 7:30AM-8:30AM – The band will perform for the Muscle Shoals City School teacher institute.
Sunday, August 6th 4PM-7PM – The band will perform for the Meet the Trojans Community Event (this will possibly be a small pep band event)
