Hope you enjoyed Spring Break! Here’s your info for the week:
Jazz Band
Jazz Band will meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings this week @ 7:15 a.m. The jazz band will play at the Solo and Ensemble Festival on May 6 @ Hamilton High School.
UNA Middle School Honor Band
The list of selected students for UNA Middle School Honor Band has been posted. The following students were selected to participate in the honor band:
Jillian Snyder, Faith Sydorick, Olive Caricciolo, Caroline Seay, Aiden Foster, Egypt Carson, Evelyn Duran, Samuel Butte, Ayden Flanagan, Jonah Jackson, Carter Hanson, Luke Farris, Briley Stone, Destined Stanley, Caden Jones, Amber Willis, and Griff Kinney.
All these students will need to pay the $65 Honor Band participation fee.

Parents will be responsible for taking their child to and from the honor band rehearsals. We are not taking a bus to this honor band. If a student chooses to participate in the honor band, they are required to be at every rehearsal.

I will be speaking to all the selected students during class this week about all the aspects of the weekend. All participating students will need to wear their concert attire for the honor band concert on April 15.
All State Etude Recordings
All All-State band members will need to be brushing up on their technical etude. These have to be recorded and uploaded by April 11. I plan on staying after school on Monday, April 10 to record the students. We need to make these recordings happen on or before April 10. The All State Festival is April 27-29 in Huntsville @ the VBC. More info on schedule for the weekend will be released prior the All State Weekend.
