Good afternoon MSHS Band!
Here’s your info for the week:
NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY or TUESDAY. We hope you all have a nice fall break! Get rested up for the last big push of the marching band season!
Here’s our schedule for the week:
Wednesday – 4th block rehearsal until 2:30 p.m. Then back to the band room to go over TVI jobs for students. Sign ups for these jobs will happen after our meeting at 2:30 p.m.
Thursday – 4th block rehearsal AND after school until 4:30 p.m. There is also a middle school game that evening. It’s the 8th grade championship game. We will need some high school students to help in concessions that evening.
Friday – Pep rally during 4th block. Then outside for rehearsal. The football game this week is a home game against Cullman. Band kids need to be dressed and ready at 5:30 p.m. in the band room. Warm-Up will start right at 5:30 p.m. Dri – Fit Shirts under the jackets this Friday night.
Parents, the big week is here. TVI is this Saturday. By visiting www.msband.org, you can see the “pop-up” that says “Volunteer for TVI Today”. We will need MANY parents to help us in this endeavor. Please click the “pop up” link to see the spots that are available for you to sign up. It’s a full day, but it’s also a very rewarding day. We would love as many that are able to be a part of it! We need LOTS of people to make this happen. It’s going to be a great day and we would love for you to be a part of it. There is a booster meeting scheduled for Tuesday, October 11 @ 7:00 p.m. in the band room at the high school. We will be discussing TVI at length.
Lot’s of TVI preparation has been happening for several weeks now. It’s almost time to put everything in motion!
