Parents/friends/band members: The band program is in need of bottled water. If you would like to donate a case of water, it would be MOST appreciated. There is a designated time this week for water to be dropped off at the lower concession stand at the football stadium. It will be after the middle school game on Tuesday, September 20 between 7:30 and 8:15 p.m. Both games should be finished by that point. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please contact Heather Foster, the high school band parent over concessions. Her email address is hnfostermba@gmail.com
The 7th and 8th grade band members have been working on our AMEA program these past few weeks. We are on pace to meet our goals by the end of the month. Parents, thank you for bringing your child to school early on their morning practice days. These morning rehearsals are doing a WORLD of good.
In 6th grade, we hope to have our first “Belt Ceremony” this Friday during class. This is our annual pass off assignment that we work with 6th grade every year. MANY students have been passing off some of their lines in class or before school. Lots of “Belts” should be given out this Friday!
It was a very busy week last week with morning rehearsals, percussion parking lot preview on Monday night, Thursday afternoon Pep Rally, Thursday evening game, and our 8th grade band playing for the 4th grade Multiplication Table Kickoff on Friday morning. Thanks for everyone’s hard work last week. It was a successful week.
Already looking forward to getting some more good work done this coming week.
Have a great rest of your weekend, everyone!
Seay you all on Monday!
