Here is the schedule of events for the Solo and Ensemble Festival this Saturday, April 30 at MSMS.
The kids will need to come to the front of the school that morning. The bandroom will be used for jazz bands and percussion students during the day. Kids won’t be able to go in there to get their instruments and music. They need to bring everything with them when the show up Saturday morning.
When they arrive at school, Mrs. Hood and I will be there to meet them and show them where to go and what to do. This is all new for our 6th graders, but most of our 7th and 8th graders have done this before. The warm up area is the lunchroom. There can be no playing in the hallways. The kids need to have copies of music for them or their group as well as one copy for the judge.
Please look sharp for this event! You want to make the best impression on your judge that you can!
