Good morning folks!
All three groups (6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands) are in the process of preparing music for our upcoming concert! Please remember to mark this date on your calendars: Tuesday evening, December 15 @ MSHS Stratford Auditorium. We hope to let you know specific times for the concert a little later in the week. Will make a post about that once we get everything nailed down.
The dress for this performance will be as follows:
Boys: Khakis/Slacks, dress shirt, belt, nice shoes. Black pants are fine, as well.
Girls: Blouse/Dress/Pants. Skirts/dresses need to be at least mid calf. Black pants are fine, as well.
We would like for the kids to be in red, green, and or white. Christmas Colors!
Please no blue jeans or tennis shoes for this performance.
We will finish up our chair tests in the 8th grade this week. We’ve got a lot to do before we get out for Thanksgiving. We all know that once we get back to school in December, things get hectic. This is a big preparation week for the band students.
We should be hearing from the fundraiser folks very soon concerning a delivery date of our items. As soon as that information is made available, I will let everyone know.
I hope all of you have had a nice weekend. Once again, I am really looking forward to getting back to school in the morning.
