Nothing like performing…..

Band is not a practicing art, it is a performing art. We practice a great deal, but without performance opportunities we lack motivation. Last night was really fun and very rewarding. We estimate a total of 1,000 were in attendance last night for our Community Performance and you didn’t disappoint. The staff loved the energy you brought and so did the audience. This may be my top performance memory of the 2020 marching season. I will remember your energy, I will remember your sound, and I will remember the community support. We have a couple more times to create more wonderful memories.

FRIDAY SCHEDULE:

Short rehearsal 4th block 1:45-2:30

5:00 call for entire band (earlier than normal)

6:15 push to stadium (sit in back stands)

7:00 gametime

8:00 halftime

9:30 game ends

FRIDAY IS FIRST UNIFORM GAME

Friday is going to be the first uniform game of the season. It’s a good things because it is going to be quite cold. You will want to wear plenty of clothing under your uniform. Sweat pants and a sweat shirt would be helpful. Please no hoodies under the jacket.

If you haven’t been fitted for a uniform, we will take care of you Friday at 4:30!

BAND SHOES: if you ordered band shoes, please bring a check for $40 Friday if you haven’t already.
