First MSMS Pep Band Performance for 7th / 8th Grade is next Thursday, October 1!
We will need the 7th and 8th grade students to be in the Middle School band room by 4:45 p.m. All students will need to go home after school. The band room will not be open until 4:30 p.m.
They will need the following:
Instrument
Lyre and Flipfolder with music
MSMS Band T shirt (shorts or jeans would be fine)
Money for concessions (not required)
We will move into the stadium around 5:00 p.m. and be set by 5:15 p.m. We will stay through halftime of the second game. The second game is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. After halftime of the second game, we will take the kids back to the Middle School Bandroom and then they can be released to their parents. Parents, please be ready to pick your kids up at 7:45 p.m. It may be a few minutes before or after depending on the game.
To help with social distancing, we will set up the 7th and 8th grade band in the visiting bleachers directly across from the place where we would normally sit on the home side. This will give us ample space to spread the kids out during the games.
The kids have been working very hard during the past weeks to get ready for this game. We typically play at 3-4 home games during the fall, but COVID, starting school later, and just trying to get caught back up from the time we missed in the spring have limited us this fall.
