School Owned Instrument Drop-off and other info

Good morning folks. As we approach the end of the school year, it’s time for us to collect our school owned instruments. Any 6th or 7th grade student that plays on a school owned instrument (tuba, baritone, tenor sax, bass clarinet, french horn), we need to get these turned back in so we can check off our inventory.

The date for instrument turn in will be Wednesday, May 20 from 9:00 am to Noon. The procedure for instrument drop-off will be the same as we did for instrument pick up. Pull up to the circle at the middle school and we will get your school owned instrument from you.

If you still need to get your instrument (one that you own), you may pick it up during this time. Just pull up to the circle and we will go in the band room and get it for you.

For all 8th graders who will be auditioning with the high school band in June, you may keep your school owned instruments so that you may work on your tryout material. If you are an 8th grader and will NOT be auditioning in June for the high school band AND you have a school owned instrument, you will need to bring it to the middle school on May 20.

Here’s an update on the Atlanta Trip refund process. Mrs. Turberville, bookkeeper, let me know that she will need parents to fill out a W9 form as part of the process to receive the refund. As soon as she gets that form to me along with any other correspondence, I will send it out to all of you.

If any of you have any questions, please email me: dseay@mscs.k12.al.us

May each of you have a great summer. It’s been a great year, in spite of the pandemic shutting the schools down. Thank you students for working hard this year. It’s been great!

Hope to Seay you all soon!
