8th grade band will play at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. That is a slight change from what we previously stated. We were able to help out another band program by taking this time slot.
Here’s the 8th grade band schedule:
Be at the bandroom, dressed and ready at 6:45 a.m.
Leave MSMS on the bus at 7:15 a.m.
-Arrive Florence High School @ 7:30-7:40 a.m. and go straight into the warm up room.
-Perform on stage at 8:30 a.m. then go onto sight reading.
-Go back into the auditorium to listen to bands until 10:30 a.m.
-Kids will need money for lunch at Cici’s pizza.
-Arrive back at school around 12:30 p.m.
7th grade band will play at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
Here’s the 7th grade band schedule:
-Be at the bandroom, dressed and ready at 6:30 a.m.
-Bus leaves MSMS @ 7:00 a.m.
-Arrive Florence High School @7:15-7:20 a.m. and go straight to the stage for warm up.
-Perform on stage at 8:00 a.m. and go onto sight reading.
-Load the bus after sight reading and return to MSMS. Arrival time back at MSMS should be around 9:30 a.m.
Band students will need to wear their concert attire for these performances. This is the same attire worn for the Winter Concert. Students may bring a change of clothes to change into.
Parents, if you can make it this week (I know it’s early in the morning), that would be great! The kids have worked very hard in making this music ready. We are very proud of how they have responded to the challenge. They are playing very well!
