Good morning band family. Here is your MSHS weekly information.
First off, let us all pray for those who will be affected by the rain forecast over the next three days. Praying it will be less than predicted.
This weekend is District honor band weekend hosted at Russellville High School. I will add the schedule and information to this message at the end for all those going.
Tuesday and Thursday are winterguard and percussion ensemble after school rehearsals.
Jazz band morning rehearsals Tuesday and Thursday. Jazz band, we will need to start 5 minutes later Tuesday. (7:20)
We are two weeks away from our Mattress Fundraiser. Right now, just reach out to family and friends to see if they need a mattress. Our jobs are simply to get them to the school Sunday February 23rd 11:00am-5:00pm.
Students, we have 14 rehearsal days until Music Performance Assessment. It is time to improve intonation and fix those technical passages. Sight reading practice starts this week!.
CONGRATS WINTERGUARD! The MSHS winterguard had a great first showing at Hoover Saturday! Hard work does pay off. Thank you students and thank you staff for all your hard work.
Percussion Ensemble, our first performance is two weeks away at the University of Alabama!.
Little Miss Trojan Beauty Pageant is February 29th. Boosters are already hard at work preparing for that day. We will need a few volunteers! Watch for sing up lists.
Our Middle School bands have a Winter Concert February 20th at the middle school Gym. Please make your plans to attend.

This is a field trip for all students.
All students are expected to ride the bus to and from. You may check out after the concert.
All students MUST attend all rehearsals, no exceptions.
The concert is a free concert.
