Fundraiser Order forms and money are due back to the directors on Wednesday this week. Students can place their order forms/money in the Forms box on the table as they enter the band room. Hopefully many of you were able to sell 10 or more items! Once we collect everyone’s order forms/money, we will place the orders to the company. When they give us a delivery date, we will everyone know.
Jazz Band will meet tomorrow morning at 715 am
Please be considering Alabama Middle School honor band. The deadline for applying is quickly approaching.
It’s also time for some of our band students to be thinking about All State auditions. We have spoken about this in class several times (7th and 8th grade). We will be posting a tryout signup list very soon for those that plan to audition. The requirements are as follows:
12 major scales and arpeggios, two prepared pieces, and sight reading. Students please be practicing your SCALES SCALES SCALES!!!!! The students who score high on scales typically do well in the overall tryouts. Please do not neglect the scales.
The Tennessee Valley Marching Invitational is this Saturday October 19. We may be posting some details about how some of our middle school parents can help out in this fundraiser for the Muscle Shoals Band Program. Please stay tuned!
