Our second MSMS Football game is this Thursday, 9-19-19. We will need the 7th and 8th grade students to be in the Middle School bandroom by 4:45 p.m. All students will need to go home after school. The bandroom will not be open until 4:30 p.m.
They will need the following:
Instrument
Lyre and Flipfolder with music
MSMS Band T shirt (shorts or jeans would be fine)
Money for concessions (not required)
We will move into the stadium around 5:00 p.m. and be set by 5:15 p.m. We will stay through halftime of the second game. The second game is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. After halftime of the second game, we will take the kids back to the Middle School Bandroom and then they can be released to their parents. Parents, please be ready to pick your kids up at 8:00 p.m. It may be a few minutes before or after depending on the game.
Band Night Number for 7th/8th grade is Friday night!
Please report to the MSMS band room at 5:30, and wear your MSMS Band Shirt! We will walk the middle schoolers over to meet the high school band at the gate to the stadium. We will all march into the stands around 6:10. We will be sitting on the visitors side.
After halftime, we will walk the middle school students back to the band room for parents to the pick them up. This should be around 8:30. If students are staying to play with the band after halftime, then their parents may check them out in the stands after the game, or pick them up in the band room. That should be around 10:15. For safety reasons, students will not be able to roam around the stadium after halftime, unless they are checked out by a parent first.
