This week is a normal schedule home game week. Our game is against Mea Jemison from Huntsville. This game is also BAND NIGHT where the middle school 7-8 graders join us in the stands through halftime.
Monday night is PERCUSSION PREVIEW with 7 visiting percussion sections. Starts at 5:30 on our band practice field with the MSMS drumline, the night ends with MSHS and then UNA drumline. It’s free, stop by and enjoy.
Tuesday is an important day for us as we hope to learn our closer drill.
Monday, Thursday, and Friday are all concession stand nights. Parents, please click on the booster volunteer link and sign up in open spots. We could use your help.
We are in our final 8 days of our snapraise fundraising campaign. We crossed the $20,000 threshold this weekend. Our goal is $30,000 We have much ground to gain, but I think we can do it! Keep advertising and sending emails!
If you still have outstanding fees out, please get that taken care of before October 1st.
Next week is our first contest on Saturday September 28. We do not have a schedule yet, but we will be playing later in the evening. Make your plans to be there!
Marching band goals this week are 1: learn closer drill, 2: put music to the drill, 3: perform the closer at the game this week, 3: guard/majorettes have all work for first three movements in the show.
I want to thank everyone for their help at our DRIVE TO GIVE fundraiser Saturday and the concession stand work. This band is full of the hardest working people I know. It’s a pleasure and a blessing to work along side all of you. GO TROJANS!!!!!
