FROM THE PODIUM 8/26—8/30

Good morning MSHS band program. I hope you had a great weekend. I want to start with a big THANK YOU to Ann Wilson and all the parents who helped with concession stands Thursday night at the game as well as Saturday and last Saturday ballgame. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. We have several students who also volunteered and we thank you as well! If you have not yet signed up to work, we need you!! Check out the link at the top of this page for BOOSTERS, the drop down will lead you to volunteer opportunities. Please, help us out. All we need is a little bit of your time.

This week is our first away game at Bob Jones High School in Madison.

Tuesday is our SNAP-RAISE fundraiser kickoff. Students were given homework of finding 20 emails for Tuesday. They MUST have those 20 quality emails for us to be successful. It is literally the only thing they have to do. No selling cheesecake, fruit, or any product. Just 20 EMAILS!!!! We do one student fundraiser a semester. This is it. The EASIEST fundraiser we could possibly do.

Today is really the first normal week of rehearsals we have had without a distraction of some kind. We need it. We learn nothing new this week, just try to make what we have as good as we can before moving on.
